State Sanctioned Murder
A woman panicked and didn’t know what to do.
She inched her vehicle forward, trying to slowly and carefully turn around. The man could have stepped aside. Instead, with his weapon already drawn, he fired three shots into her face.
People are saying she deserved it.
People are assuming she was liberal.
People are telling Democrats to “fuck around and find out.”
The administration is lying to our faces about what we can see with our own eyes.
No one was being assaulted.
No one was in danger—except that woman.
This was state-sanctioned murder.
She wasn’t “shot by ICE.” She was killed in cold blood by an armed individual operating under ICE authority who chose lethal force where none was necessary.
This country has an obscene appetite for violence, and those in power are more than willing to feed it.
Trump makes horrifying statements—like threatening to cancel elections—and then walks them back as “hyperbole.”
This is deliberate. They want shock. They want paralysis. They want us to feel that resistance is futile.
They weaponize ambiguity.
They test boundaries.
They let fear do the work for them.
These are not good people.
They do not have our best interests at heart.
They are working toward a Christian white-nationalist oligarchy, and they have shown they will stop at nothing to achieve it.
This must be confronted—clearly, publicly, and without surrender.
Silence is consent. Ambiguity is complicity. We either confront this now—or live with what follows.
SAY HER NAME

It continually surprises me how unrestrained the police are. It’s not just ICE. Cops and even prison guards in the U.S. kill people fairly regularly. People let it go for too long, and that is why now all of a sudden it is a problem. But nothing has changed. The cops have been doing this forever.
ICE is nothing more than poorly trained gun nuts and thugs now. This should never have happened. My heart goes out to Renee’s child and family.
